These formats include in-person classes; hybrid classes, which blend in-person and online learning; and fully online classes. In addition to these changes to the manner in which courses are delivered, the university is adopting a standardized attendance policy in order to accommodate students who are ill or are required to isolate during the semester. This temporary universitywide policy relies on the honor and good faith of all university community members. According to the new policy, when students are unable to attend class due to health concerns, they are asked to report the reason for their absence truthfully to their instructor.

Physician-ordered pre-admission tests such as blood tests, x-rays and EKGs must be completed before being admitted to the hospital. If you are having a surgical procedure, you will also speak with an anesthesiologist at this time.

It was founded in by the Baptist minister Russell Conwell. On May 12, , it was renamed the Temple College of Philadelphia. By , the institution revised its institutional status and was incorporated as a research university. As of , about 40, undergraduate, graduate and professional students were enrolled at the university. Conwell came to Pennsylvania in to lead the Grace Baptist Church while he began tutoring working class citizens late at night to accommodate their work schedules.
